Written by former La’s guitarist, and Cast founding member, John Power, this was the second single released from Cast’s debut album All Change, an album that gave record company Polydor it’s highest selling debut album at the time, peaking at number seven in the UK album charts.

The single itself spent five weeks on the singles chart and reached number thirteen. It served as a prelude to the seven top ten hits the band went on to achieve between 1996 and 1999.
