1988.

I don’t know if this is considered un-pc these days, or just bad taste in general, so I apologise if it offends anybody but it was in my head when I woke up and it did make me chuckle.

Morris Minor and the Majors comprised of Tony Hawks, Paul Boross and Phil Judge (known by the stage names Morris Minor, Rusty Wing and Phil Errup respectively) and this song, written by author and comedian Tony Hawks, was a parody of the successful 1987 Beastie Boys single No Sleep til Brooklyn. The video also features John Deacon of Queen playing guitar and sporting a rather fetching blue wig.

The single proved to be hit, reaching number two in Australia and number fourteen in Canada. Here in the UK it spent twelve weeks on the charts and peaked at number four.
