Yes, it’s a song from the 1964 film Mary Poppins this morning. More specifically one line going round and round in my head.

“Votes for Women, step in time.”

I can only assume this is because I’ve been reading a book about the 1913 Derby where Suffragette Emily Davison stepped out in front of the King’s horse, Anmer, and was knocked to the ground, suffering injuries that resulted in her death.
